What GOP hopeful Rick Santorum misses in his recent theological attack on President Obama’s pro-environmental stance is an understanding that the “dominion over the earth” God gave man in Genesis 1; God takes away after The Fall in Genesis 3: “…cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life….”

Deportation of criminals up

Reduce crimes, not increase convictions

President Obama said in a speech recently in El Paso that “We increased the removal of criminals by 70 percent.” He was referring to the nearly 200,000 aliens who were here illegally and were deported only after they were convicted of serious crimes.

What about the criminals who are still here illegally, who have not be caught and convicted of serious crimes?

What about the citizens of this country who were victimized by these illegal aliens? 

Wouldn’t it be more cost-effective and better use of law enforcement to keep these hundreds of thousands (millions) of illegal aliens out of our country in the first place?

Mr. President, tell us instead about the decrease in number of crimes committed by illegal aliens, not the increase in numbers who were caught, convicted and deported.
