Overhaul to attorney’s office?

It makes sense to save money by reducing the amount of work that our government needs to do; but to simply “privatize” that work, calls into question the motivation behind those decisions.

Government hand outCase in point: the Hillsborough BOCC plan to outsource the work of the attorney’s office to for-profit law firms.

Is there any reason to believe that this transfer of money is in anyway motivated by the fact that more campaign funding comes from local private law firms than from the employees of the County attorney’s office?
