Progress Energy – a dying proposition
How is the government forcing Progress Energy customers to pay money to a private company for them to build a for-profit electric generating plant any different than the government forcing citizens to buy health care insurance from for-profit insurance companies?
The so-called “fiscal conservatives” in favor of the first but against the second, are talking out of both sides of their mouths, and fewer voters are listening to them anymore.
